Catlin's Hypnotherapy is a family practice run by Felicity Catlin and her mum, Sally Catlin. We are both currently training as hypnotherapists and psychotherapists. Because we believe everyone deserves access to this kind of support, we are offering sessions completely free of charge until September. From September, sessions will be offered at a half-price introductory rate of £50 per session.
We work across a wide range of challenges — anxiety, depression, sleep, addiction, eating disorders, OCD, pain, weight, confidence, and self-esteem. Every session is tailored to you: we listen first, then we build a path together.
Free sessions available now · £50 half-price sessions from September
Sessions are calm, respectful, and paced around you. Hypnosis is not about losing control — it is a focused state of relaxation where you remain aware and comfortable.
We listen carefully to what you want to change, then tailor the approach to your goals, your pace, and the patterns you would like to shift.
Free sessions are available until September. After that, our half-price introductory rate is £50 per session while we continue building the practice.
What we support
Hypnotherapy can help when a problem feels automatic: the thoughts, habits, fears, cravings, or emotional responses that happen before you have time to talk yourself out of them.
For racing thoughts, physical anxiety, worry loops, stress responses, and the feeling of being unable to switch off.
For difficulty falling asleep, waking in the night, bedtime anxiety, and rebuilding a calmer relationship with rest.
For low self-belief, inner criticism, avoidance, performance anxiety, and wanting to feel more steady in yourself.
For habits that feel hard to break, including emotional eating, smoking, repetitive behaviours, and unwanted coping strategies.

What I can help with
Each one is an invitation to approach something that's been difficult in a different way.
Reframe the patterns keeping you awake and restore your natural rhythm with the night.
Calm the inner noise. Learn to meet anxious thoughts from a quieter, steadier place.
Gently shift the patterns of thought and feeling that keep you in a low place.
Build a healthier relationship with food and your body — from the inside out.
Address the underlying drivers of dependency — not just the habit itself.
Untangle fear responses that have taken hold in the subconscious and limit how you live.
Work with the mind's relationship to pain and find new ways to ease and manage it.
Support sustainable change by working on mindset, motivation, and relationship with food.
Reconnect with your own worth — not as a performance, but as a felt, lived truth.
Shift the internal voice. Build genuine confidence from the inside out, not performance.
Find relief from the cycle of intrusive thoughts and compulsive responses — calm the loop and reconnect with your sense of self.
How it works
Each session begins with a calm, supportive conversation so we can understand what has been happening for you and what you would like help with.
We spend time noticing the positives from your week, helping you recognise progress, strengths, and moments where things have felt a little easier.
We discuss how the brain works and how this links with your experiences, feelings, habits, and the problems you are facing.
We explore what you would like to change and work in a solution-focused way, gently building a picture of what life could look like when things improve.
The session ends with trance: a deeply relaxed, focused state where your mind can absorb positive suggestions and support helpful change.
"I was sceptical, genuinely. After two sessions the anxiety I'd carried for a decade felt different — lighter, like it had lost its grip on me."Early client, Anxiety & Overthinking

Yes. Hypnosis is a focused, relaxed state. You remain aware, you can speak, and you can stop at any time.
